Mua Cave❘ (means Hang Mua in Vietnamese) in Ninh Binh is a tourist destination not to be missed when do you visiting Ninh Binh and Vietnam. Here you can explore the unique natural scenery with green trees and mountains.

1. Where is Hang Mua ( means Mua Cave).

Mua Cave is located at the foot of Lying Dragon Mountain, in the Trang An eco-tourism complex area and inside the territory of Khe Dau Ha village, Ninh Xuan commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. When coming to Mua Cave, you will be able to practice your endurance when hiking to the top of the mountain through near 500 stone steps, and from the top of the mountain you can admire the whole beauty of Tam Coc area with green rice fields and river (see the pictures below).

2. How to get to Mua Cave from Hanoi?

The road from Hanoi city to Mua cave is really simple, with a distance of 100km from Hanoi you can travel by multi vehicle as train, bus, taxi, private car or motorbike. You can rent a motorbike in Hanoi if you can drive in Vietnam and then drive down south of Hanoi to following National Highway 1A straight to Ninh Binh city or travel by bus for about 2 hours with a fare of 150 - 250 thousand VND and when arrive, you can rent a motorbike in Ninh Binh.Road map Hanoi to Mua Cave

3. Entrance fee ticket to Mua cave.

Currently, the ticket price to enter the Mua Cave - Hang Mua tourist area is 100,000 VND / person / time, this is the price that has been announced on the website of the Department of Tourism of Ninh Binh province.

4. How far Hang Mua to other destinations.

4.1. Hang Mua to Tam Coc: If you go to Mua cave in ahead, you can go to Tam Coc or Trang An Grottoes with short distance (about 3 - 4 km away, If you finish Hang Mua, on the way go out the tourist area, at the first T-junction, turn right to Tam Coc & left to Trang An, the way to Tam Coc about 3.5 km with rice paddy & villages along road side. Easy combine the tour with some destinations in between.

4.2. Mua Cave to Trang An grottoes: If you from Trang An grottoes, you continue to turn right and go about 4km along 419C road to reach Mua cave. Quite easy to find and easy to go because most already have maps and directions around the road.

Usually, you will combine traveling to Mua Cave - Trang An during the day because the distance between these two attractions is quite close, it will not take you much time to travel. In addition, there is nothing more interesting when climbing Mua Cave in the morning to see the wonderful beauty of nature from above, and in the afternoon, being immersed in the peaceful river space of Trang An.

6.1. Health check up: When going to Mua cave, you need to prepare an entrance ticket to visit which is 100,000 VND. Besides, you need to prepare good health before going because you will have to climb a lot.

6.2. So how many steps does Mua Cave peak: Up to 680 steps can reach the both tops, but don't be discouraged when you reach the top, you will find the effort is worth it because of the mesmerizing beauty here.

6.3. What's to wears: You should wear something lightweight, comfortable, sports shoes to facilitate climbing, moving stairs. Do not wear cumbersome clothes, high heels will be very inconvenient for movement.
